Search

On the main page of the Services Kapp or kinetic application, a portion of Service Portal, there is a Service Search.

In the Service search, you can use any keyword from the Service title or description to find that service. The search result page will allow you to select the services found to make a request or to do a new search if the required service was not found.

Browse

Below and to the right of the Service Search is a list of categories that will allow you to browse to find the desired service. There are six categories that come preconfigured:

• Facilities
• Finance
• Human Resources
• Information Technology
• Legal
• Marketing

But these categories can be removed if desired, and any number of new categories can be created. To allow for easy browsing of large numbers of Services, subcategories can exist within categories to any depth. Also, Services can be in more than one category if appropriate.
