Upgrading the Kinetic Task Component

Process

Follow these steps to upgrade the Kinetic Task component:

1. Log in to the System Console.
2. From the Spaces list, select the Space you want to upgrade.
3. Click the Infrastructure tab.
4. In the Task Image field, update the value to the version of Task you want to upgrade to using the following format:
   kineticdata/kinetic-task:[VERSION]. For example, to upgrade from Task 6.0.5 to Task 6.0.6, change the version value to 6.0.6.

   ℹ️

   When upgrading an air-gapped installation, you must upgrade Task using an image available in the private registry. Images are only pushed to the private registry when you upload an airgap bundle file during the Platform component upgrade process.

5. Click Update Space.
