Introduction to Platform Administration
Platform Administration Overview
Welcome to your Kinetic Platform Space! As a Space Admin, you're responsible for setting up and managing the core elements that make your environment run smoothly. This includes organizing your platform into functional areas (called Kapps), managing who has access to what, and creating the teams and users that support your business processes.
This section serves as your launchpad. You won’t need to dive into workflows or advanced settings just yet—this is all about getting familiar with the tools at your fingertips and establishing a strong foundation.
What Is a Space?
A Space is your organization's dedicated environment within the Kinetic Platform. It contains your forms, workflows, user data, team structures, and settings—all neatly isolated from other tenants.
Each Space has a unique subdomain, such as: https://your-space-name.kinops.io
You’ll do all your administrative work within this dedicated environment.

- Create teams and define their structure
- Set global attributes used throughout your workflows or themes

You’ll also have full access to user and team attributes, enabling you to build dynamic workflows that respond to organizational structure and data.
